CMI Team Building & Practical Training

Team CMI met in Durban for a fun-filled weekend of physical, mental, sporting and artistic challenges loaded with laughter and some of the serious stuff as well! A day of team building fun activities and a great dinner, preceded informative, on-water training – learning more about the industry we cover.

Junior Fishing Day

3 August, Durban

CMI's Janine Dyer kept a watchful eye over the Club Marine kids who joined an excited throng of young anglers in Umhlanga Skiboat Club’s Junior Fishing Day in Durban Bay. CMI sponsored four gift vouchers. One of the winners being Rhori Kane following in her dad's footsteps.

Region 5 Bass International

31 July-2 August, Mozambique

While our Protea Bass team recently caught the second
highest number of fish (85) in the Region 5 Internationals
held at Chicamba in Mozambique – South Africa placed
third overall.

They were competing against Zimbabwe (who led the field throughout this three-day contest), Mozambique and Zambia.
Club Marine-sponsored Craig Fraser, captained the SA squad.

Congratulations to South Africa for winning the President's
Test against Zimbabwe and Namibia at De Hoop Dam.

Competition was tough but SA managed to catch their
final five-fish bag limits by 14H00 on the last day, for a
great TEAM victory.
